If you think you are worthless, get angry or irritated quickly, experience being small, feel lonely, get frustrated easily, get negative thoughts, feel stress and anxiety…
DOESN’T MEAN YOU ARE INTO DEPRESSION…
These days people are really getting confused about themselves and their mental health. If you have all the above symptoms and think that you are into depression, let me give you a reality check…
It’s good that due to more awareness through social media and more people are talking openly about mental health issues and we have become more alert & conscious about it. But do you exactly know the difference between normal stress & clinical depression?
I keep hearing a lot about depression these days and especially from teens or youngsters. They read the symptoms of depression on social media and start relating themselves to it.
It’s very common that due to lots of pressure related to education, career, peer pressure, parental pressure and lots of other physical and emotional challenges; we may get impacted and may experience or witness the above symptoms but it’s not necessarily depression. So don’t panic, unless you’ve tried everything or nothing seemed to work.
You must take advice or seek help from experts but do it with more awareness and responsibility without pushing yourself into the trap of being depressed. It can only be dangerous when you don’t seek help or talk to an expert about it. So before jumping to any conclusion and treating yourself as depressed; can you make some conscious efforts?
All these symptoms can be due to some unproductive patterns or limiting beliefs that you might have developed over the period or it can be related to some incidences of your past which can be resolved through coaching and NLP sessions.
If you are experiencing something like this; ask yourself these three questions:-
Q.1 What’s the complaint you have? About yourself or some other person or situation?
Q.2 How is it impacting you & your life?
Q.3 If you solve it; how will it impact your life in a positive way?
